Chairperson's Message
Greetings!
This has been a year of many successes and achievements for Community Futures Ventures in providing a variety of economic development initiatives and entrepreneurial programs to rural communities in East-Central Saskatchewan.
As we reflect and celebrate the past year, we have seen an increase in the number of support services offered to businesses and entrepreneurs, including counseling, business training and financing through loan funds. Over the course of the year, Community Futures Ventures lead, supported and participated in an array of community economic development projects to promote and enhance sustainable communities.
A special thanks to all the Board of Directors for your ongoing dedication to Community Futures Ventures. I am grateful for your insight and contribution to the growth and vitality of the organization. Your willingness to share information and assist with events is truly remarkable.
Thank you to Corinne, Shelley and Brenda for your commitment and the ability to execute the mandate as outlined in our Strategic Plan. You continue to provide service excellence in program delivery and customer service and I am proud of all your hard work over the past year.
As Chairperson, on behalf of Community Futures Ventures, I would like to thank Western Economic Diversification for your on-going support to economic development in rural Saskatchewan. We look forward to our continued partnership.
As always, I continue to be inspired by the partnerships we have made over the past fourteen years and look forward to working in collaboration with partnering organizations across the region in this coming year and in many future years.
Let us move forward with confidence and optimism towards building the future for Community Futures Ventures and its key role in the economic viability in rural communities. We will begin our fifteen year of operation by implementing the Strategic Plan 2011-2013 created by our Board of Directors and will continue to strive for excellence in meeting our benchmarks in program and service delivery.
Respectfully,
Terri Brischuk
Chairperson
